Absolute The absolute oil is obtained from “concretes” or resinoïds. After extraction of these from alcohol ethylic absolute, the alcoholic solutions are freeze between -12° and -15° Celsius, filtrate and after that concentrate under reduce steam. The absolute oil is very precious for the richness that occurs for the compositions in which they are incorporate.
Infusion In fragrances, the verb to infuse means putting in prolonged contact (sometimes several years) a solid with a liquid to dissolve it in cold the soluble parts (example: musk, amber, chive, oak moss)
Reinforce (To) It is to increase the power or the tenacity of one, some or the totality of the elements of a composition.
Tincture Cold or warm Dissolution of the soluble parts of a solid body by prolonged contact with a liquid, mostly alcoholic. |
