Quelques termes liées à la parfumerie :
Chromatography Scientific method of analysis for identification and control of perfumery components.
Concentrate This noun indicates the composition such as it appears at the conclusion of the work of preparation. The concentrated according to their destination are then incorporated into some alcohol: manufacture of Extracts, Toilet Water, etc., or quite other cosmetics or toiletries.
Enfleurage Former method of cold extraction of the floral products, finalized in Grasse, using the properties of some fat to absorb and hold the nice-smelling molecules. These perfumed creams are then alcoholic washed to give the absolute cream.
Maceration It is the operation which consists in leaving in prolonged contact (some days in some months) in the “tubs of maceration”, the concentrated in the alcohol, to obtain the optimal olfactive quality. During the duration of the maceration, certain number of vegetable substances precipitates what allows obtaining after glazing and filtration a crystal clear liquid.
Solution Homogeneous liquid containing a dissolved body; preparation diluted with certain nice-smelling products or of concentrated by perfume (alcoholic solution). |
