Bouquet Mixture of fragrant products without any dominant characteristic note. No longer used in its intangible sense in perfumery.
Dissolve Make cross in a liquid the soluble elements of a solid or semi-solid product to obtain a solution.
Fractionate (To) To separate by distillation in various parts an essential oil or a synthetic product.
Maceration It is the operation which consists in leaving in prolonged contact (some days in some months) in the “tubs of maceration”, the concentrated in the alcohol, to obtain the optimal olfactive quality. During the duration of the maceration, certain number of vegetable substances precipitates what allows obtaining after glazing and filtration a crystal clear liquid.
Stability Property of a perfume a little bit sensitive to the different physical chemical changes. |
