Absolute The absolute oil is obtained from “concretes” or resinoïds. After extraction of these from alcohol ethylic absolute, the alcoholic solutions are freeze between -12° and -15° Celsius, filtrate and after that concentrate under reduce steam. The absolute oil is very precious for the richness that occurs for the compositions in which they are incorporate.
Dominant It is the most perceptible note in the olfactive point of view in a composition; ex: a floral note with dominant jasmine.
Filter (To) Physical action which consists in holding (retaining) the insoluble particles in suspension in a liquid by means of a filter: paper, asbestos, tissue, etc. …
Perfume (or Flavor) Product the most concentrated and generally the richest in a defined line.
Solution Homogeneous liquid containing a dissolved body; preparation diluted with certain nice-smelling products or of concentrated by perfume (alcoholic solution). |
