Mixture of fragrant products without any dominant characteristic note. No longer used in its intangible sense in perfumery.

Embalm (To)
Give off a balsamic and pleasant smell.

Excite
Highlight in the composition one or several notes.

Résinoïde
Coniferous product obtained by the treatment in the volatile solvents from certain natural balms, gums and resin, used generally as element of the thorough note.

Volatile
Indicate a smell evaporating very quickly (fleeting perfume).
