Character What distinguishes and personalizes a note, a harmony, and a perfume.
Dominant It is the most perceptible note in the olfactive point of view in a composition; ex: a floral note with dominant jasmine.
Infusion In fragrances, the verb to infuse means putting in prolonged contact (sometimes several years) a solid with a liquid to dissolve it in cold the soluble parts (example: musk, amber, chive, oak moss)
Natural product Product already existing in the nature, vegetables, animals.
Solution Homogeneous liquid containing a dissolved body; preparation diluted with certain nice-smelling products or of concentrated by perfume (alcoholic solution). |
