Absolute
The absolute oil is obtained from “concretes” or resinoïds. After extraction of these from alcohol ethylic absolute, the alcoholic solutions are freeze between -12° and -15° Celsius, filtrate and after that concentrate under reduce steam. The absolute oil is very precious for the richness that occurs for the compositions in which they are incorporate.

Cohobation
Process of distillation based on the permanent recycling of the water of distillation during the operation.

Isolate
Defined fragrant substance obtained by split distillation.

Palette
Set raw materials privileged by a creative perfumer.

Tincture
Cold or warm Dissolution of the soluble parts of a solid body by prolonged contact with a liquid, mostly alcoholic.
